2025 Legislative Update
The purpose of this course is to provide public safety officers with a brief analysis and summary of the bills and resolutions impacting the criminal justice system that passed during the 2025 annual session of the Georgia General Assembly.

Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia
This training course equips Georgia's first responders with the knowledge and tactical communication skills necessary to interact safely and effectively with individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Participants will learn to recognize the common physical and psychological signs of cognitive impairment, understand the high-risk behaviors associated with dementia-especially wandering and impaired driving-and employ empathetic, non-confrontational engagement techniques. The course provides critical, Georgia-specific resource information, including the use of Mattie's Call alert system and referrals to the Alzheimer's Association, ensuring responders are prepared to initiate immediate search protocols, provide crisis intervention, and offer crucial post-incident guidance to caregivers.

At-Risk Adults
This course is designed to provide officers with tips for identifying abused, neglected, and exploited adults. Georgia statutes are included for officers to review. At the conclusion of the course, officers will have the tools necessary to conduct effective investigations involving an at-risk adult.

Autism and De-escalation
This interactive online course is designed to ensure that all law enforcement officers have an understanding of de-escalation and dealing with those with autism. This online course meets the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council requirement for all peace officers to complete de-escalation training.
